Download free or trial delphi components or libraries. Delphi 6 Personal Edition Delphi 7 Personal Edition Both I found on the Borland website, and are still there to this day. They are located on the Polish version of the site, so I had to use a Polish to English translator to find them. YES they are the english versions and YES they are full versions.
Ok, I have asked Rich on if I was allowed to do this and he said I was. Through extensive searching I managed to come accross Delphi 6 Personal Edition Delphi 7 Personal Edition Both I found on the Borland website, and are still there to this day. They are located on the Polish version of the site, so I had to use a Polish to English translator to find them.
YES they are the english versions and YES they are full versions. Since I am allowed to, I have decided to be a nice guy and post the direct links to them. All is required is that you go on the English page and have them email you a free serial code for them. Delphi 6 Personal Edition Delphi 7 Personal Edition The files are pretty big and I don't recommend you download them unless you have a fast internet connection. D7 is 60MB and D6 is 120MB. The Borland servers are very fast so it shouldn't take very long on a fast connection. I hope that if someone does find a link to an English version of Delphi 2005 Personal they will let me know.
Good Luck, The Lone Programmer. LOL The Reg file they email you goes in your users folder.
For me I would put mine in c: Documents and Settings NicolasRaboy you just drop that text file in your user directory. Inside that text file there should be an authorization key and a serial code. I doubt they stopped it. If you still need help let me know. I know how it feels to be looking for something for so long and have no one help you out. Not saying that its anyone in the tgc community.
This community has treated me the best of all the ones I've been in. Thats why I am proud to share what I know with them. The Lone Programmer. LOL I have no idea why 6 is larger than 7. Maybe 7 was meant to be more of a trial than its previous Personal Editions. I use Delphi 6 Personal Edition because I found it before I found 7. Just haven't switched over yet.
I have examined both of them and I have yet to find a real difference between the two. They are both awsome for being free.
Please if you do find a link to a Delphi 2005 Personal Edition English please post the link. I would highly appreciate it along with the other members of this community.
It would be so nice if someone in the UK burned an ISO of the 2005 they received with PC Pro and posted the link through a Bit Torrent or something. I think its still legal to do that since its a free program, but I could be wrong.

Keep up the search, The Lone Programmer. I too would like to see the personal edition available for download. According to Borland, Delphi 2005 PE will only be available on things like magazine cover disks.
However, some French developers website have managed to nag Borland to allow them to offer the French version for download. I don't speak French, so I'll have to use google for help, but it'll have to do for me until I can get my hands on an English version. On the other hand, if Delphi 2005 PE doesn't become available for easy download, relatively few people will probably develop components for it, so I might switch back to 7 eventually. Quote: 'Just of curiosity, why is version 6 bigger than 7? ' The Delphi 6 PE installer has Microsoft IE 5.5 bundled with it, that's why the bloated size of the package (140MB+). So I guess over 80MB+ among it is a waste if you have IE 6 already installed. In addition, Delphi 6 PE carried an 'Object Pascal language guide' PDF, of which you can download separately from Borland's web site (see this Wikicities page for more detail): Almost forgot to say thanks to The Lone Programmer for providing the download links, you rock!
