Jul 6, 2013 - The ZTE K3565-Z is an USB wireless modem which will connect your computer over the 3G broadband network, so you can access the Web.
Recently bought the Vodaphone K3565 Mobile B/band dongle and tried to load it onto my PC (Vista). The PC doesn't recognise that the dongle is attached and it can't locate any drivers. I've checked tha Computer Device manager and the dongle shows up BUT with a yellow triangle containing an exclamation mark - opened 'properties' and it stated 'no drivers installed' - error code 10. When I check 'Computer' it shows all the drives but, again, doesn't pick up the dongle as attached. Windows directed me to the manufacturers website (Hua.???
- E220) to d/load the drivers but that didn't work either. ((somewhere else I found that the K3565 is actually the E160x - so I'm really confused!!) I have managed to load it onto my daughters computers (1 x Apple and 1x M/s XP) and it works on both BUT.not on my 'Vista' PC. ((PS- I've uninstalled the device from Device Manager and uninstalled all of the Vodaphone programmes, then tried reinstalling - without sucess.)) How do i get the PC to recognise that the dongle is attached - once kit does that maybe (just maybe!!) it will find teh drivers Tks for any help. Hi SLF and welcome to the eForum I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with this. I can totally understand how frustrating this must be for you. Its very strange that this is working on some machines but not yours.
I think the best thing to do he would be to download the latest version of Vodafone Mobile Connect and install it on the machine that is not working and then plug your USB modem in. You can find the download here - Please give this a go and then let me know how you get on.
If you have any more questions just give me a shout and I'll be happy to help you further Thanks Wayne eForum Team. Sorry, I should have mentioned that I've already d/loaded the 9.4 programme and tried using that. Then uninstalled the whole lot and tried again. I've even gone through the PC and tried to clear anything to do with Vodaphone that is on the system and then started from ground zero again.
All of this with the Norton f/wall switched off and with it switched on. The PC just doesn't recognise that the dongle is inserted into the USB port. It doesn't show up as a 'drive' on any screen or on the explore 'tree' and with the Vodaphone 9.4 programme running it states 'no device attached' when the dongle is attached. Hi SLF, It's really disappointing to read this - I certainly thought the 9.4 VMC would fix any driver issues. Film saint seiya movie 5 sub indo soccer balls. If your computer is simply not discovering it, can you try a different USB port? I know you probably would have already, but just thought I'd double check. The USB ports aren't USB 1.0, by any chance?
Aerosoft tahiti torrent full. I would suggest trying the modem on another computer to double check the modem actually works - does the light flash any colour? If not, it might be a faulty modem. But this wouldn't account for Device Manager discovering it, even in part. Other than this, there may be a deeper issue at work here - we're not accredited Microsoft technicians, so my knowledge beyond the checks you've posted are limited. Please let us know if or not the modem does work differently with another computer.
Incidently, what is your computer - is it an off the shelf model or a custom machine? In extremely rare occasions there may be a hardware conflict that cannot be resolved, but if you could let us know, that'll be another piece to the puzzle. Any extra details that you can provide will go a long way to giving us and the community insight into your setup - there may be someone on here that recognises the fault and can suggest a fix.
Keep us updated! Daz eForum Team.
