Hi there, just wanted to say thank you very much for this handy tool. It successfully calculated my PIN based upon the 8 digit code printed on the white tag inside of key fob (can also be found inside Renault service book) I am pretty sure of this as I also generated the PIN in another tool (have attached this in case it is of use to anyone else viewing this thread) and the codes generated by both tools were exactly the same. Please note it will not run on any 64 bit windows machine as it is an MS-DOS app. I worked around this by installing 32 bit XP to a virtual machine running in VBOX. Here is my current predicament: The immobiliser in my 2001 PH1 1.4 16v Clio has been refusing to disarm itself, my plan is to install a PEP Pin Entry Plug from Hickleys which should allow me to input the security code generated from the above tool and thus, bypass the immobiliser, another handy thing about it is that the PIN can be 'locked' to the device so you should only need to enter it once, leave it connected to the OBD socket underneath ashtray and voila, no more dodgy immobiliser issues. It can also be removed should you want to again immobilise the car for security reasons.
Instructions for Immo Test Kit Run the program “RenaultImmCode.exe” The password is Trantir.Enter the password. It will then ask for your model. Simply type in Megane Scenic or Clio etc. It will then ask you for your code from your key fob. Enter the digits/letters from the fob It will then generate your emergency immobiliser code. Please write it down and keep it safe!
